You can now play Playground games against Computer when another viewer is not available.
How it works
Open the Games panel, choose a game, and invite a Computer player from the player list.
Computer opponents are available in every Playground game:
- Chess, with Computer (Beginner), Computer (Club), and Computer (Master) for three difficulty levels.
- HELP-A-FRIEND! Trivia, The Wild Wild Chat, and Stick Around!, so every game can still be played when nobody else is free.
How Computer plays
In Chess, Computer waits briefly before moving. Beginner is the easiest opponent, Club offers a mid-level game, and Master is the toughest.
In HELP-A-FRIEND! Trivia, Computer answers during each question round and does not always get it right. In The Wild Wild Chat, it watches for messages that match an open bounty and tries to claim them before you do. In Stick Around!, it moves around the arena, dodges falling chat bubbles, and fights to be the last player standing.
Why add it?
Computer keeps Playground available during quiet streams, replays, or whenever another Chat Enhancer user is not ready to play.
Playground is still opt-in. Enable Join Playground from the extension settings, open the Games panel in chat, and invite a Computer opponent when you want a match.
